About The Position

Operates machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment, following quality and productivity requirements safely and with limited guidance. The role contributes to production goals by manufacturing and assembling products to meet customer expectations, maintaining quality standards, caring for equipment, and collaborating with teammates and support staff.

Requirements

High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience to the extent that it meets applicable regulations.
May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Responsibilities

Stop work and immediately report major injury hazards; report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, and hazards.
Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, policies, procedures, and regulations; use appropriate personal protective equipment; look out for others; correct hazards within one's control; and minimize negative environmental impacts.
Engage in HSE training.
Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke, and visual standards.
Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures; perform quality inspections; and identify and control non-conforming material.
Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to required characteristics and dimensions.
Demonstrate competency in core work skills, achieve production goals, and work to the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, perform routine housekeeping and machine cleaning, and carry out planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals.
Work with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain equipment and identify equipment requiring repair.
Communicate effectively with the assigned team and support teams.
Complete training and personal development in line with business requirements.
Participate in improvements to quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development.
