About The Position

Performs basic non-production activities that support manufacturing processes in accordance with quality and productivity requirements, safely in a manufacturing environment and with direct guidance.

Requirements

• High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience that meets applicable regulations.
• The position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Responsibilities

• Stop work and immediately report major injury hazards; report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
• Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations; use appropriate personal protective equipment; look out for others; correct hazards within their control and capabilities; minimize negative environmental impacts; and participate in HSE training.
• Follow applicable standard work, process documentation, policies, and procedures; raise quality concerns and support quality inspection activities.
• Perform role activities in accordance with defined responsibilities and demonstrate basic competency in core work skills.
• Support continuous improvement activities to improve quality, safety, processes, and employee development.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, perform routine housekeeping, and watch over company resources.
• Learn and apply the Cummins Operating System (COS).
• Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties as required to meet manufacturing goals.
• Work with peers to maintain process performance.
• Communicate effectively with the assigned team and support teams.
• Complete training and personal development in line with business requirements.
• Participate in improvements to quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development.
