About The Position

Responsible for finishing and packing bumpers. This role involves loading and unloading bumpers onto and from a paint line, polishing, wrapping, and preparing them for shipping. The associate will also be responsible for boxing and banding outgoing bumpers, organizing assembly processes, performing product inspections using total quality concepts, accurately reporting daily activities and production data, conducting quality checks, and maintaining clean and safe work areas. The position requires exercising safe working habits while operating machines and performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. A high level of attention to detail is essential.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to work overtime, as production demands require.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.
• Must follow all safety practices and policies.
• Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp.
• Frequent use of firm grasping, fine manipulation, and pitching.
• Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
• Must wear appropriate PPE.
• Adheres to all workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards, and practices.

Nice To Haves

• Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 yrs. preferred

Responsibilities

• Loads bumpers onto paint line.
• Unloads bumpers from paint line to finishing table.
• Polishes, wraps, and prepares bumpers for shipping.
• Box and band outgoing bumpers.
• Must be able to organize all aspects of the assembly process.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.
• Conduct required quality checks.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Must possess a high level of attention to details.
• All other duties as assigned.
