About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for Production Associates in El Paso, TX. As a Production Associate, you will perform production assembly operations from pre-arranged kits, assemble moderately to complex electro-mechanical products, and assemble custom switchboard cabinetry with medium to large-sized parts. You will also read complex prints and schematics, troubleshoot, fabricate and install parts, and utilize a variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment to complete the job. This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years previous production experience
• Experience reading prints and schematics
• Ability to work independently
• Expertise with basic hand tools, air tools, gages and torque wrenches required
• Good hand eye coordination and excellent natural or corrected vision
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work Overtime is required

Responsibilities

• Performs production assembly operations from pre-arranged kit
