About The Position

The Production Associate (Manufacturing Assembler) works hands-on assembling full truck bodies, contributing precision and care to each build. The role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing plant and includes interpreting blueprints and work orders, cutting and fabricating materials, assembling components, operating tools and equipment, setting up and maintaining machines, inspecting finished products, and completing safety and quality checks. The position includes on-the-job training in basic math, tape measurement, computer skills, hand and power tools, and blueprint reading. Production leaders are commonly promoted from within, and this role offers opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing.
• Previous experience working on truck bodies.
• Construction experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, work orders, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Cut wood and metal to precise specifications using saws, shears, and other equipment.
• Assemble and fasten components using bolts, screws, rivets, clips, and other hardware.
• Safely and efficiently operate pneumatic and hand tools.
• Set up equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Inspect finished products for defects and to ensure quality standards are met.
• Complete required safety and quality checks.
• Follow company safety policies and help maintain a safe workplace.
