About The Position

The Production Associate works in production areas handling dough processing, dough cooler and staging for shipment, and tray washing. The role includes preparing dough batches, monitoring product quality and equipment, documenting production checks, and responding to equipment issues using human-machine interfaces (HMIs). The schedule is 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, three to four days per week, with flexibility as needed. The hourly rate is $20, with an opportunity for overtime and a 2% annual Team Achievement Dividend Bonus.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work with yeast and flour products.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

Determine the correct batch recipe and gather, measure, and mix ingredients.
Ensure dough is delivered into the rounder.
Record batch data and maintain the proofing library.
Achieve and maintain dough certification.
Perform metal detector checkups and monitor and document dough temperature.
Change dough ball sizes on the Vemag.
Check sifter tailings in a timely manner and record findings.
Report irregularities to the Supervisor and Manager.
Monitor equipment and make necessary interventions through HMIs.
Troubleshoot automated equipment, including the stacker, dolly loader, and/or tray buffer, when needed.
Organize dough by size inside the dough cooler.
Monitor dough temperature and metal detectors.
Load trays onto the conveyor for cleaning.
Monitor tray washer gauges and settings to ensure water pressure, water temperature, and detergent levels meet company standards for cleaning and sanitizing trays; record findings.
Conduct titration and/or chemical testing on tray washer equipment as needed.
Perform tray washer interventions as needed using an HMI.
