About The Position

Worthington Steel is hiring a Production Associate at its Monroe, Ohio location. The role involves operating steel-processing equipment, moving and handling steel materials, and packaging and inspecting finished products while following safety procedures and quality standards. Manufacturing experience is not required; training and support are provided to help employees develop skills and build a long-term manufacturing career.

Employees train on first shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., for approximately 2 to 6 weeks before transitioning to either second shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., or third shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Starting pay is $23 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour for second- or third-shift work. The posting states employees can earn up to $60,000 annually.

Requirements

• Ability to work second and/or third shift after first-shift training.
• Demonstrated reliability and commitment to consistent attendance.
• Ability to perform physical, repetitive work and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math skills.
• Show up on time, take pride in producing quality work, work well as part of a team, and be willing to learn and grow.
