Production Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shift
About The Position
The Production Operator safely operates production equipment in assigned production positions and supports manufacturing activities across areas including mixing, printing, inspection, and operation. The role helps with equipment setup and product and process changeovers, identifies manufacturing defects, and works to eliminate their root causes. Operators collect and report data using HMIs and production computer programs such as SAP. Training is provided, and there are opportunities for pay increases and promotion as the facility grows. The position is based in New Braunfels, Texas, and is available on either a second or third shift schedule. Second shift runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Third shift runs Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with opportunities to increase to $19 per hour over 12 months; the listed compensation range is $17.50–$20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness and ability to work in all areas of production, including mixing, printing, inspection, and operation.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Willingness to adhere to environmental regulations and company procedures.
- Willingness and ability to move between core processes as directed by the shift Supervisor or as operational needs require.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience in the automotive, chemical, textile, plastics, or rolled goods industries.
- Familiarity with HMI (Touch Screen) operation.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
