About The Position

The Production Associate, also described as a Picker/Packer, inspects, bands, and shrink-wraps stacks of finished labels and assembles and packs boxes of finished labels. The role is responsible for meeting safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards and interacting with other departments to support company strategies. It is an entry-level position intended to provide opportunities to grow into other positions within the company. The work includes operating a pallet jack, completing documentation, maintaining housekeeping, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Able to spend the full shift standing.
• Positive attitude.
• Able to meet the stated physical demands, including frequent walking, occasional climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Able to use hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; and talk and hear.
• Vision sufficient for close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished labels to ensure quality.
• Band and shrink-wrap stacks of finished labels.
• Assemble corrugated boxes or trays.
• Pack finished labels in boxes for shipment.
• Stack boxes on pallets for shipment.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Operate a pallet jack.
• Comply with facility safety policies and procedures, work instructions, and applicable regulations, including ISO, GMA SAFE, and HAACP.
• Interact and behave professionally, treating associates respectfully and in accordance with the company code of ethics.
• Maintain daily housekeeping, which may include painting and cleaning the facility interior and exterior.
• Travel as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
