Production Associate | 2nd or 3rd Shift
About The Position
Worthington Steel is hiring a Production Associate at its Monroe, Ohio facility. The role supports steel manufacturing and processing in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment. The company provides hands-on training and opportunities to develop skills and grow a long-term manufacturing career; prior manufacturing experience is not required. Training is conducted on 1st Shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., for approximately 2 to 6 weeks. Employees then transition to either 2nd Shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., or 3rd Shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The position pays $23 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shift. The posting states that annual earnings can reach up to $60,000. Requirements
- Ability to work 2nd and/or 3rd shift after completing training on 1st shift.
- Demonstrated reliability and commitment to consistent attendance.
- Ability to perform physical, repetitive work and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic math skills.
- Dependability, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities
- Operate steel processing equipment.
- Load, unload, and move steel materials.
