About The Position

The Production Associate performs manufacturing assignments according to safety specifications, instructions, and requirements, and works to meet production standards within the required time. The role is responsible for safety and quality throughout production, maintaining a clean work area, reporting production waste and issues, and following company policies and procedures. Associates must notify a Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping away from the line so safety and quality standards can be maintained. Other duties may be assigned by a Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and report issues.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to remain on feet for up to 8–12 hours per shift.
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job functions.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and climb.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements.
• Meet production standards for specific assignments within the required time.
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in the assigned space.
• Report production waste to a Production Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain safety and quality throughout production.
• Notify a Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping away from the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
• Perform other duties as required by a Supervisor or Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
