About The Position

Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services) is seeking dedicated professionals for an immediate Production Associate opening for our client located in Jackson, TN. This role involves verifying product counts, inspecting products for quality and grade, and managing products on a conveyor line. The associate will also be responsible for handling rejected products, adding supplemental products to meet specifications, and reporting any mechanical or material issues to the supervisor. The position requires rotation through various line positions and potential assistance in other plant areas based on production demands. Maintaining a safe and clean work area, adhering to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices, and wearing required PPE are essential. The role also includes performing other duties as required by SOP.

Requirements

• 6 months or more production or quality experience
• Professionalism and a positive attitude are of utmost importance
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Positive attendance record
• Ablity to work some weekends

Responsibilities

• Verify the count, look at, and manage the product, as required by nature, to determine the grade and identify substandard products as they pass down the conveyor line.
• Place rejected products and individual grades of products in designated piles, containers, or areas.
• Add supplemental products to bring the original product to specifications.
• Notify the Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Rotate through various positions on the line.
• May be directed to assist in other plant areas as production demands require.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices.
• Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provided.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required following SOP.
