About The Position

Georgia-Pacific is now hiring Production Associates to join our Corrugated facility in Spartanburg, SC! The team creates value by safely assisting with the production of corrugated boxes for our valued customers. The role involves operating equipment to defined standards, monitoring computer control systems, troubleshooting equipment, performing basic asset care duties, and working as a team to meet production, waste, quality, and safety goals. The position requires strict adherence to safety rules and regulations and may involve tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a loud, noisy, industrial, high-volume environment.

Requirements

Candidates must be flexible and available to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Must be able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems
Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
Operate and/or work around mobile equipment
Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment
Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment
