About The Position

This is a utility role that will require operating and covering multiple areas. The Production Worker / Log Line Operator will move and stack logs high to a pallet measuring 36x40 to create a bulk log unit. They will need to watch the quality of product and move product that doesn't meet criteria out of the primary stack. Once the rack is full, the operator will move the full rack of logs to a designated cooling area. The role also involves banding the unit, stretch wrapping the unit, placing a waterproof cover over the unit, and placing it outside for storage. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Good eye, hand, and foot coordination.
• Ability to pass company forklift training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day.
• Ability to read and interpret scales.

Nice To Haves

• Prior forklift experience.
• Prior production line experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and cover multiple production areas.
• Move and stack logs to create a bulk log unit on a 36x40 pallet.
• Monitor product quality and remove non-conforming products.
• Move full racks of logs to a designated cooling area.
• Band units, stretch wrap units, and apply waterproof covers for storage.
• Perform other assigned duties.
