About The Position

The Production Associate performs daily production activities for the on-site production trailer and preventative maintenance on equipment as needed. The role provides customer service to on-site customers and coordinates with on-site personnel, internal departments, and support teams to support smooth ordering and production processes. The associate develops a technical understanding of materials and production methods; retrieves order files; operates post-digital output, imaging, laminating, and fiber laser equipment; and finishes, cleans, proofreads, and quality-checks products to meet customer specifications. The role prepares finished products for delivery and arranges or completes delivery to on-site customers. It also includes routine machine maintenance and minor repairs, maintaining production rates, handling multiple projects, complying with safety requirements, and keeping the production area organized.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of manufacturing, construction, or related experience.
Technical skills related to basic equipment maintenance.
High attention to detail and a good eye for color and design.
Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to work independently at a fast pace with minimal supervision and prioritize work.
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Consistent and regular attendance.
Wear required safety equipment in the production area and comply with applicable occupational, company-specific, and jobsite safety requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Adobe Illustrator.

Responsibilities

Learn how materials and products are produced and how to manufacture each item.
Communicate with customers throughout projects and orders to meet or exceed commitments and provide ongoing support.
Retrieve order files and operate post-digital output, imaging, laminating, and fiber laser equipment.
Set equipment and materials correctly, including material loading and feed, temperature, pressure, and speed.
Finish products after printing, lamination, and/or cutting.
Clean materials, proofread products, and perform quality assurance to ensure accurate products meet customer specifications.
Prepare products for delivery and arrange or complete delivery to on-site customers.
Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
Maintain consistent production rates and meet or exceed established minimum rates.
Work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously.
Comply with occupational health and safety requirements.
Keep the production area neat, clean, and organized.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
