About The Position

The Production Associate moves glass and other materials through the production facility, supporting safe and efficient product flow. The role involves handling glass from tables, furnaces, rolling racks, delivery trucks, and wood crates; inspecting product quality; and performing rotating production tasks. Benefits start on the first day of employment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
Flexible work availability, typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.
Regular and predictable attendance, ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility.
Forklift experience.
Overhead crane experience.

Responsibilities

Move glass from tables, furnaces, rolling racks, delivery trucks, and wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
Transport materials, including glass, between positions and locations to expedite production.
Read and attach appropriate product labels and tags.
Inspect product quality and operate or manually maneuver equipment.
Understand the facility layout to support proper product flow.
Perform different job functions on a rotating basis and be available to work in all production areas.
Inspect products for abnormalities and promptly notify a supervisor of issues, including fabrication problems or logo placement concerns.
Use a tape measure to verify products meet specifications.
Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Maintain regular, predictable attendance and follow safety policies and procedures.
