About The Position

The Production Associate III – 2nd Shift Grinder Operator performs assigned production tasks while following safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and housekeeping guidelines. The role includes following product specifications, maintaining accurate records, interpreting the daily schedule, checking production materials and equipment, and communicating with designated operators and support teams to address issues. The employee follows start-up, shut-down, and changeover procedures and performs other assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and good housekeeping guidelines.
• Keep accurate and complete records as required.
• Follow product specifications on a daily basis.
• Perform tasks accurately and effectively to minimize cost and identify problem areas.
• Know and interpret the daily schedule.
• Communicate with support teams as needed.
• Visually inspect vats, blend coverage, and identification to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Communicate blend or other issues with the designated operator.
• Perform equipment checks as needed.
• Follow start-up, shut-down, and changeover procedures to ensure safety requirements are met.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
