About The Position

Cretex Medical is a contract manufacturer of precision components and assemblies for the medical device industry, with capabilities in injection molding, laser processing, metal stamping, and device assembly. The Production Operator supports the Stamping business unit by producing, monitoring, measuring, and cleaning component parts, and performing machine procedures and processes. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing role.
At least 2 years of grinder/CNC machine operating experience.
Ability to use basic hand tools, basic measurement equipment, and production processes.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Operate production equipment to produce component parts using work instructions and prints, ensuring the correct materials, tooling, processes, programs, chemical handling where applicable, and forms are used.
Regularly use a microscope or other visual equipment to inspect parts.
Inspect and monitor the quality of parts according to visual and dimensional requirements.
Accurately record and report quantities.
Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO requirements, and medical device requirements.
Collaborate with and assist team members, provide input to the area lead, and participate in meetings.
Cross-train in other production areas when required.
