About The Position

Direct work in a production area ensuring continuous work, safe work practices and on-schedule completion. Follow all Crown Packaging safety and health rules and regulations, and wear or use required protective equipment while working. Report hazardous conditions to the employer. Report any job-related injury or illness to the supervisor or manager and seek treatment promptly. Notify supervisor immediately of any injuries or accidents in the work area.

Requirements

Is consistently at work and on time.
Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitors on quality to ensure good quality.
Able to meet all mandatory training for position.
Demonstrate ability to meet productivity standards.
Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
Follows instructions responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; works overtime when required.
Adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
Able to sit, walk, move around for long hours at a time.

Responsibilities

Control and monitor all work order changeovers.
Demonstrate ability to effectively use and log in information on the computer.
Ensure all members of the line understand the work instructions.
Demonstrate ability to perform all jobs on the line or area of responsibility in accordance with established procedures.
Demonstrate ability to operate all equipment safely and properly.
Ensure all materials and parts are present on the line before starting a new work order.
Conduct spot-checks to ensure Production Associates are following safety procedures and operating equipment in a proper and safe manner.
Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly with other Production Associates in a professional manner.
Complete and maintain required paperwork timely and accurately.
Consistently follow procedures for scanning vendor labels.
Ensure product is placed on skids in accordance with work orders.
Follow established procedures for re-stock.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
