About The Position

Atlas Molded Products is seeking Production Associates at its Murray, Utah facility. The role supports manufacturing operations by inspecting, packaging, assembling, and labeling products according to production specifications, while following quality standards, safety requirements, equipment procedures, and departmental instructions. Associates may operate side-wrappers, pallet jacks, and pre-breaker or re-grinding equipment used to recycle EPS. The position requires maintaining a clean and organized work area and being able to safely operate assigned machinery.

The role involves light to moderate physical effort throughout the shift, including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, manipulating objects, reaching forward and overhead, and tolerating temperature changes. Associates must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Must be able to use simple math, count, and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
• Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to safely operate assigned machinery.
• Must tolerate temperature changes throughout the shift.
• Must be able to perform the physical activities described, including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, manipulation, and reaching forward and overhead.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Manager at the start of the shift to receive direction for the day.
• Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
• Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble, and/or label materials according to production instructions.
• Operate side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
• Operate pre-breakers and re-grinding equipment to recycle EPS, as trained.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow general safety requirements and safely operate assigned machinery.
