About The Position

Mungo Homes has a new opening for an Permits and Production Administrator! This role is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks supporting the production and warranty departments. The administrator will manage reports, communicate with buyers and internal teams, maintain construction files, and assist with various administrative duties related to home building and permitting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn KOVA software

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to buyers about their experience during construction and 2 weeks after closing
  • Run warranty and production reports, scrub data, and store in U: drive to be reviewed by Production Manager
  • Send out follow up emails on items that need addressed
  • Send necessary reports to Area Superintendents on Mondays
  • Scrub job cost for jobs closed for the week; update variance report
  • Scrub multi-lot invoices
  • Process VPO Landscape maintenance
  • Pay re-inspections fees (track and report)
  • Maintain signage inventory, cleaning supplies, and production marketing items and order as needed
  • Assist with Production Meetings, calls, and agenda and send out follow up email/ minutes
  • Assist warranty personnel with follow up warranty scheduling
  • Assist in tracking subdivision turnover; Update matrix post LD to Production turnover
  • Enter Builder’s names at start for manpower tracking
  • Create and distribute start packages for all new homes/subdivisions to include: building permits, plat plans, plans marked w/applicable options, selected options detail sheet, cabinet & flooring sheets, flatwork/sod calculation sheet, and community standard features sheet.
  • Request surveyor maps as required.
  • Request permits for new starts; request and submit appropriate fees and pick up permits.
  • Track and respond to permitting issues as required.
  • Maintain house construction files.
  • Travel within the local area as required.
  • Request water and sewer certificates and service
