About The Position
Camping World is seeking a Product Specialist Advisor to work directly with customers to identify specialized product needs and services, provide price estimates for designated installations, and coordinate appointments. As a member of the sales team, the Product Specialist Advisor collaborates with the service team to support high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to work on a computer daily and perform internet searches as needed.
- Excellent organization and follow-up skills are required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistive devices.
- Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for periods of time.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- At least one year of sales experience preferred.
- At least one year of previous RV or camping product experience preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of Service Department procedures and policies preferred.
Responsibilities
- Interact daily with customers to promote specialized products and installations.
- Review each job for proper sizing, colors, and placement before scheduling installation.
- Maintain and update prepayment logs and keep customers informed about work progress.
- Schedule installation appointments with designated service staff.
- Monitor daily parts traffic and receive parts for installations.
- Inspect vehicles to ensure the correct parts are ordered.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
- Cross-train to perform other duties as necessary.
