About The Position
The packaging team member works as part of a team responsible for packing meat and seafood into pouches and boxes for distribution to customers. The role involves operating packaging machines, preparing products for distribution, and maintaining a clean workspace. The position is suited to someone with a strong work ethic who is punctual, friendly, and a team player. Work takes place in a temperature-controlled refrigerated plant.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to add and subtract simple numbers and to multiply and divide.
- Ability to work in a temperature-controlled refrigerated plant.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, friendliness, and ability to work as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum seal and box portions using packaging machines.
- Weigh, label, and stack boxes on pallets for distribution.
