About The Position

The Senior Product Specialist will interpret reels as a business, identifying how to provide customer value through sustainability, service, and technology. The role influences the Prysmian organization to embrace change and builds and strengthens relationships with key stakeholders and customer representatives. The position leads customer reel-management strategies and the rollout of Prysmian’s reel return system across North America, including customer transitions to a new platform in the United States and support for digitizing reel returns in Canada. It develops reels as a business opportunity, expands the Reeloop recycling program, manages reels profit and loss, and promotes Alesea technology adoption. The specialist works with business units, customers, internal teams, and external partners to improve service, operational efficiency, sustainability, and revenue growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in business management.
Proven track record of managing business growth, particularly in execution.
Relevant experience using data as a revenue stream, including reporting dashboards, predicting behavior through data, and providing services using data.
Ability to manage data and communicate effectively with data analysts.
Ability to be dynamic, think creatively, and execute effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in teams, manage schedules, make decisions, and be accountable for work, customer feedback, and defined strategies.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to improve management of steel reels at customer locations, enhance customer service, accelerate reel return cycles, and increase the value of technology-enabled solutions.
Build customer relationships and encourage adoption of reel-management practices that benefit Prysmian and its customers.
Lead implementation of the new reel return system across North America, manage customer transitions to the platform in the United States, and support digitization of reel return processes in Canada.
Drive the evolution of reels from a logistics asset to a revenue-generating business opportunity by collaborating with business units and customers to identify needs and create value through service, speed, and technology.
Use Alesea technology to develop revenue streams and strengthen Prysmian’s competitive advantage.
Expand adoption of the Reeloop recycling program and work with customers and cross-functional teams to establish efficient recycling processes and execute the program successfully.
Own reels profit and loss performance by collecting, analyzing, and reporting business metrics; identify process improvements, cost optimization, and revenue growth opportunities.
Monitor operational performance and ensure execution of strategic initiatives and daily business activities.
Serve as a North American ambassador and subject matter expert for Alesea technology solutions; promote adoption internally and externally to improve reel tracking, visibility, and asset management.
Provide expertise, training, and support to stakeholders to maximize value from technology-driven solutions.
Align internal teams and external partners around Prysmian’s reel strategy, foster cross-functional collaboration, and maintain relationships with stakeholders, customers, and industry partners.
Support Prysmian’s sustainability objectives while creating additional value for customers.
