About The Position

Allegiance Flag Supply is hiring a Packaging Specialist for its weekday manufacturing shift. The role is an in-person position in North Charleston, South Carolina, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The Packaging Specialist picks, packs, and prepares customer orders for shipment; checks products for quality and craftsmanship; selects packaging to protect products in transit; verifies item selection, quantities, and packaging details; and maintains an organized, safe, and efficient work area. Team members also inspect flags at each stage of production. The role involves coordinating with coworkers and supervisors, meeting order fulfillment targets while maintaining accuracy, and identifying process improvements.

Requirements

• Ability to relocate to North Charleston, SC 29420 before starting.

• Knowledge of flag etiquette and American flag-related products.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to customer requests and company standards.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards for craftsmanship and appearance.
• Use appropriate packaging materials to protect products during transit and minimize damage.
• Verify that orders are correctly assembled, including item selection, quantities, and packaging details.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area for efficient workflow and safe working conditions.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors regarding order issues, discrepancies, or special requests.
• Meet or exceed daily order fulfillment targets while maintaining accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and suggest improvements.
• Inspect flags throughout each stage of production to ensure quality and accuracy.
