Product Operations Manager

Onebrief
•$140,000 - $170,000

About The Position

Onebrief is hiring a Product Operations Manager to ensure its deployed product works as intended in high-stakes, mission-critical environments. The role connects customers, product, engineering, infrastructure, and go-to-market teams, and builds the systems, data pipelines, processes, and automations that support confident product delivery. It is a hands-on, technical position focused on creating processes and tools from the ground up and using AI and automation to operate them at scale. The manager will turn customer feedback and product usage signals into roadmap input; maintain reliable dashboards and product quality measures; own bug intake, triage, and resolution practices; and establish release governance for Pilot, Early Access, and General Availability. The role also coordinates operating rhythms and tooling across teams, supports quarterly planning and launches, and makes release, reliability, and feedback status visible across Onebrief. The person will partner closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, Quality, InfraSec, Customer Relations, Product Marketing, and other teams. An active SECRET clearance or higher is required, along with willingness to travel domestically or internationally when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in product operations, product management, technical program management, or release management in B2B/SaaS.
  • Active SECRET clearance or higher.
  • Track record of building processes from the ground up and scaling them.
  • Strong data skills, including the ability to pull, analyze, and present data using SQL or similar tools, dashboards, and product analytics.
  • Hands-on experience building or using prompts, agents, and automations to improve real workflows.
  • Working knowledge of release practices, including feature flags, staged rollouts, rollback, and release notes.
  • Experience with bug tracking and triage, including severity levels and resolution targets.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Linear, GitHub, Slack, and Notion, or similar tools.
  • Experience running launches, Early Access or beta programs, and customer feedback loops.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and recorded walkthroughs.
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally when needed.
  • Core skills in process design, data analysis, technical program management, AI and automation, user research, and cross-functional leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Military, government, or national security experience.
  • Familiarity with STIGs, POA&Ms, ATO, and secure or air-gapped deployments.
  • Experience with product telemetry, observability, or quality-of-service measures.
  • Experience with MCP, API integrations, or scripting to automate workflows.
  • Experience with tool migrations, such as moving to Atlassian, while keeping processes intact.
  • Experience working with multiple teams to establish a standard process.

Responsibilities

  • Build customer feedback channels and measures of product usage and satisfaction, such as feature-usage telemetry and NPS/CSAT, and translate findings into roadmap input.
  • Build dashboards for executive, support, and engineering audiences, with automated checks to help ensure their accuracy.
  • Own the bug database and its intake, triage, severity levels, resolution targets, and review cadence; drive the highest-impact customer issues toward resolution.
  • Define and deliver in-product quality-of-service measures, including load delays, timeouts, crashes, and failed logins.
  • Work with InfraSec to plan STIG, POA&M, and security fixes into the roadmap.
  • Define release entry and exit criteria, sign-off owners, and rollback triggers for Pilot, Early Access, and General Availability.
  • Own feature flags, rollback procedures, release notes, and a shared view of what is shipping, to whom, and when; report release status weekly in CR OpSync.
  • Involve InfraSec early when releases affect high-side environments or ATO, and produce enablement materials for Sales and Customer Relations.
  • Establish operating rhythms and practices across Linear, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Slack, and Notion; clarify how customer issues are weighed against feature work and who communicates when something breaks or ships.
  • Measure execution using resolution time, escape rate, regression rate, and mean time to recovery (MTTR).
  • Facilitate quarterly planning, roadmap alignment, and cross-team dependency management.
  • Work with Product Marketing and GTM leadership on launches, Early Access, and beta programs, and communicate Product priorities, rationale, and progress across Onebrief.
  • Discover existing processes and stakeholders before building new processes or tools; connect new systems to teams and tools, and record and share walkthroughs.
  • Design and maintain AI agents and automations for tasks such as PRD drafting, release-note checks, dashboard checks, and data grooming; document custom builds in the ProdOps GitHub repository.
  • Reinforce simple, consistent practices across product teams, and ensure feedback and telemetry lead to roadmap and backlog changes.
  • Partner across Engineering, Infra, Quality, InfraSec, Customer Relations, and Product Marketing as the shared point of visibility for release, reliability, and feedback status.
