About The Position

As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will be a member of the marketing team in a fast-paced, end-to-end corporate marketing department that strives to continually test new approaches to improve performance. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for deeply understanding customer targets, crafting compelling positioning and messaging, and creating omni-channel campaigns to drive enrollment and improve retention, supporting the company’s portfolio of programs. You will act as the strategic connective tissue between Marketing, School Operations, and other key cross-functional teams. Your role will be to ensure that prospective and existing customers are fully aware of, understand, and achieve value in what we offer, thus supporting Stride’s overall goals. The Product Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and supporting marketing campaigns to support one or more of Stride’s products, programs, or initiatives. This includes working with stakeholders to deeply understand the target segment, understand product and program opportunities, set strategic campaign objectives, develop a campaign launch plan, partner with internal or external teams to develop appropriate communications elements for use in multiple on-and off-line channels, and influence opportunities to refine roadmaps. You’ll also measure the effectiveness and impact while contributing to an ongoing learning agenda through rigorous and agile testing. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, ideally in product marketing OR brand management, or related cross-functional support roles
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities on a daily basis and work independently with a strong bias for action
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, meets deadlines consistently, and able to drive clarity in the face of ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive new product launch plans, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies
  • Manage commercial launch plans and marketing campaigns including internal enablement plans as well as various digital marketing tactics, with the goal of customer acquisition and retention
  • Develop go-to-market plans by working across Academic Services, School Operations, MarComm, Demand Generation, and Enrollment Operations
  • Work with internal Creative / Dev Teams to create various deliverables including emails, landing pages, lead capture forms and reporting
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling product content and collateral that effectively communicates the unique value proposition of our products to target audiences
  • Collaborate with the school operations and product team to understand product features, benefits, and competitive differentiators, and incorporate them into enablement/launch strategies and materials.
  • Work with our internal Market Research team to conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, and use the insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, and lead generation, to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Develop A/B testing to optimize the product presentation to our target audience
  • Serve as a credible subject matter expert with a working knowledge of areas of responsibility
  • Forge strong relationships with internal teams and external organizations
  • Ensure thorough, timely and accurate stakeholder communications
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in online K-12 education and early professional development, product marketing, and digital marketing, and apply the knowledge to continuously improve our marketing strategies and tactics.
