Product Marketing Manager, Subscriptions

About The Position

Stripe is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to own end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Stripe Subscriptions, helping businesses build, launch, and scale recurring revenue models. The role sets strategy for subscription management offerings and translates customer needs and market dynamics into positioning, launches, and programs that drive adoption and growth. It partners closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation, and Campaigns, and works across the product lifecycle—from shaping products through launch, commercialization, and post-launch adoption.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of product marketing or growth marketing experience at a technology company, with a track record of independently owning end-to-end go-to-market strategy and execution.
  • Experience marketing complex B2B software, financial technology, billing, payments, or other products that require translating technical concepts into clear customer value.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positioning and messaging, lead product launches, and drive adoption across multiple customer segments.
  • Strong customer orientation and analytical judgment, with experience combining research, market insight, and performance data to shape strategy and influence product decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling narratives for executive, technical, sales, and customer audiences.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and deliver results across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own end-to-end go-to-market strategy for subscription management offerings, including target audiences, priority use cases, routes to market, and success measures.
  • Develop customer insight into the needs of businesses with recurring revenue models through research, market analysis, and partnership with user-facing teams; translate insights into product and commercial recommendations.
  • Create clear, differentiated positioning and messaging that makes complex billing and monetization capabilities accessible and compelling to businesses ranging from startups to global enterprises.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Partnerships, and Demand Generation to plan and coordinate product launches and support a consistent customer experience.
  • Design and execute programs to increase awareness, activation, and sustained usage across priority customer segments; use data and experimentation to improve performance.
  • Equip Sales and other user-facing teams with insights, content, and tools to communicate value, address customer needs, and accelerate adoption.
  • Define goals and success metrics, synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals, and turn results into actionable recommendations for product and go-to-market teams.
