About The Position

Assent is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join their growing Product Marketing team. This role will be instrumental in bringing solutions to market, refining messaging, supporting revenue teams, and translating customer, market, competitive, and AI-driven insights into actionable strategies. The Product Marketing Manager will shape how Assent positions, launches, and sells key solutions across its supply chain sustainability platform. This position is ideal for a product marketer who excels at transforming complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives. The role involves close collaboration with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, Content, and Enablement teams to develop messaging, go-to-market plans, sales materials, and market insights. While regulatory expertise is not required, curiosity, commercial acumen, and the ability to translate technical information into easily understandable messaging are essential. The role will leverage AI-enabled tools and workflows for research, insight generation, competitive analysis, content development, win-loss analysis, and go-to-market execution.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related GTM roles within B2B SaaS
  • Proven experience owning positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for complex or technical solutions
  • Experience supporting enterprise or complex B2B sales cycles
  • Strong ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives
  • Experience building or contributing to win-loss analysis programs and translating insights into action
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine clear, compelling positioning and messaging for Assent solutions across supply chain sustainability, compliance, responsible sourcing, and related areas.
  • Translate product capabilities, market trends, and customer challenges into value propositions that resonate with different buyer and user audiences.
  • Support go-to-market planning for new product capabilities, solution updates, regulatory changes, and commercial initiatives.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Demand Generation, Content, Customer Success, and Enablement to activate messaging across launches, campaigns, and sales motions.
  • Use AI tools to improve research, competitive intelligence, messaging development, content creation, win-loss analysis, and customer insight synthesis.
  • Identify opportunities to make product marketing workflows more scalable, efficient, and actionable through AI-enabled insights.
  • Monitor customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments relevant to Assent’s solutions.
  • Synthesize insights from win-loss analysis, customer conversations, sales feedback, and AI-enabled research into actionable recommendations for Product, Sales, and Marketing.
