Product Marketing Manager

Blee
•$150,000 - $250,000•Remote

About The Position

Blee is hiring its first product marketer, who will be the second marketer on the team and work directly with the Head of Marketing. The role will shape and own how Blee’s marketing content compliance category is understood by buyers and the broader market. Foundational messaging exists but is industry-agnostic; the Product Marketing Manager will adapt it for financial services, healthcare, beauty, travel, and other industries. In the first six months, the role will rewrite the core narrative for the top three industries, establish ICP and persona work, create a usable sales enablement foundation, and develop close customer insight. Ongoing priorities will evolve with company needs and may include competitive positioning, sales enablement, launch playbooks, and category-defining content. The position partners with content, social, events, web, product, sales, and customer success teams to keep the company’s story consistent and support go-to-market efforts.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in B2B product marketing.
  • Experience at an early-stage company building from scratch rather than inheriting an established playbook.
  • Experience selling to technical or regulated buyers, such as legal, compliance, security, finance, or information security teams.
  • Understanding of situations where buyers and users are different people with different incentives.
  • Strong writing ability, sound judgment about language and messaging, and the ability to distinguish genuine customer insights from reframed product features.
  • Comfort contributing as the product marketing voice among product, sales, and customer success colleagues, and being open to changing course when others have better ideas.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with category creation.
  • Experience in or around regulated industries.

Responsibilities

  • Own messaging and positioning across core industries, beginning with financial services and extending to healthcare, beauty, and beyond.
  • Build ICP and persona work for a split buyer/user dynamic in which legal and compliance teams buy while marketing teams use the product.
  • Create the sales enablement foundation, including decks, narratives, one-pagers, objection handling, and competitive positioning.
  • Run a customer insight engine through regular conversations with customers and prospects, using insights to inform messaging, content, and product.
  • Lead go-to-market efforts for new product and feature launches.
  • Partner with content, social, events, and web teams to maintain a consistent company story.
  • Rewrite the core narrative for the top three industries during the first six months.
  • Build category-defining content, launch playbooks, and sales enablement as business needs evolve.
