About The Position

Verkada is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to manage one or more of our core product lines. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing new launches and ensuring their success in the market. In addition to leading launches, you will be integral in creating the collateral needed to enable our Sales, Demand Generation, and Channel Marketing teams to win. This role is highly cross-functional and will bring together stakeholders across the Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing organizations to drive business results. We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This position will be based in-person at our HQ in San Mateo, CA.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of product marketing or related experience in B2B SaaS or IoT
  • Ideal candidates have experience developing positioning and messaging across a portfolio of products
  • Self-directed and able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional writing skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to write content for a variety of audiences
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams including Demand Generation, Sales, Creative, Enablement, and Product
  • Willingness to travel domestically for events and conferences
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

  • Bring new products to market by taking the lead on launches - planning and creating/managing deliverables in order to maximize impact.
  • Develop competitively differentiated messaging and positioning for a product based on user research, market insights, and product knowledge.
  • Partner with Product Management counterparts to set a go-to-market plan, including target markets, bill of materials, and an activation strategy.
  • Work closely with Creative, Demand Generation and Channel Marketing teams to increase market presence and drive pipeline through key outbound assets (videos, webinars, thought leadership, email nurture, etc).
  • Partner with the Sales team to understand how your products and messaging are resonating with customers and develop sales collateral to improve win rates.
  • Become a product subject matter expert, evangelist and cross-functional leader who unites Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to drive business results.
