About the position
The job overview for the Product Marketing Manager (PMM) role at Coactive is to develop and execute marketing strategies and programs that position Coactive effectively in the target market. The PMM will be responsible for building market awareness, driving new sales leads, and supporting the closing of deals. They will also be accountable for developing a clear corporate identity, creating polished content, and promoting customer successes and thought leadership. The PMM must have a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and the needs of the target market to differentiate Coactive's offerings. Additionally, they will be responsible for measuring the effectiveness of the marketing strategy and continuously improving it.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy to position Coactive effectively in the target market
- Develop and implement SEO and paid search strategies to drive organic search rankings and assess ROI on paid search investments
- Gain media and event placement for Coactive leadership and customers
- Develop and manage relationships with PR and marketing agencies, as well as web development resources
- Develop and evolve brand identity and ensure adoption across the organization and collateral
- Provide ongoing review, guidance, and assistance on the visual appearance and effectiveness of market-facing materials
- Deeply understand customer businesses and problems in the target vertical to optimize collateral and messaging
- Establish a product messaging framework that effectively communicates the value proposition and differentiation
- Design and deliver multi-channel collateral for prospects, analysts, influencers, and investors
- Develop content, scripts, and talking points for Coactive speaking engagements
- Devise programs to develop, test, and iterate content with external stakeholders
- Participate in sales engagements to gain feedback on the effectiveness of content
- Design and implement measurements for the effectiveness of the marketing strategy
- Understand sources of all leads and identify successful channels for future marketing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline is ideal
- Experience in marketing strategy and program execution
- Ability to design multi-channel marketing strategies
- Experience in go-to-market and ongoing marketing programs
- Ability to solicit feedback and gain buy-in from internal stakeholders and external experts
- Experience in gaining media and event placement
- Knowledge of SEO and paid search strategies
- Ability to develop and manage relationships with PR and marketing agencies
- Experience in developing and evolving brand identity
- Knowledge of content creation and collateral development
- Understanding of customer businesses and problems in target vertical
- Ability to establish a product messaging framework
- Experience in designing and delivering multi-channel collateral
- Ability to develop content for speaking engagements
- Knowledge of content production process and resourcing
- Ability to measure and improve the effectiveness of marketing strategy
- Understanding of lead sources and ability to identify successful channels
