About The Position

Schumacher is hiring a Product Manager to join the ecommerce product team. This is a newly created role where you will join the team responsible for improving conversion all the way through add-to-cart, covering acquisition and discovery. You will own the initiatives that drive incoming traffic to schumacher.com, as well as the features that help our designers “evaluate and compare” products, with the goal of improving add-to-cart rates. This spans products serving our internal users (such as the email campaign management tool or the CMS) as well as on-site work aimed at improving the designer experience. You'll also own cross-brand initiatives to improve the digital experience across FS&Co group brands (Schumacher international sites, Tillett, Patterson Flynn, Backdrop, and other brands in the group). Day to day, this covers the full product lifecycle, from research to results: Research and discovery, Scoping and prioritization, Requirements definition, Delivery, Experimentation and results measurement, and Continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or a closely related function (product ops, growth, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on an ecommerce site, ideally on projects related to traffic acquisition and conversion
  • Professional English proficiency
  • Comfortable with analytics and data tools (e.g., Contentsquare, Power BI, GA4, or equivalent) to build your own analyses

Responsibilities

  • Own initiatives that drive incoming traffic to schumacher.com.
  • Own features that help designers evaluate and compare products to improve add-to-cart rates.
  • Own cross-brand initiatives to improve the digital experience across FS&Co group brands.
  • Conduct user research (interviews, usability testing, review of qualitative and quantitative data) to identify friction points and opportunities.
  • Build prioritized roadmaps based on business impact and effort.
  • Write clear specs and PRDs with defined success criteria.
  • Translate business or user needs into user stories for engineering and design teams.
  • Drive day-to-day development with engineering and design teams, including running agile ceremonies and making trade-off calls.
  • Design and launch A/B tests, define success metrics, and analyze results.
  • Track the impact of initiatives on traffic and conversion over time.
  • Address maintenance and recurring pain points with rigor.
