About The Position

TextUs is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own product discovery, shape the roadmap, and author Product Briefs. This role involves working with a dedicated product team to guide products from problem definition through launch, with a focus on differentiating TextUs, including AI-based capabilities. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for driving product strategy and execution within a collaborative and data-driven environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in B2B SaaS.
  • Ownership of problem definition and brief or requirements authorship at a level engineering teams could build from with minimal rework.
  • Strong authorship skills, able to carry a brief to a near-final state independently.
  • Collaborative working style with a track record of negotiating scope constructively and working effectively in shared-ownership processes.
  • AI fluency, including experience shipping or defining AI-based product capabilities and proficiency using AI tools in product practice.
  • Comfortable in a CI/CD environment with frequent releases.
  • Comfortable in a small-company setting that requires working flexibly across role boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Own product discovery, including customer needs, market signals, and competitive dynamics, and develop roadmap recommendations with business cases and prioritization.
  • Present roadmap recommendations to the executive team for approval and regularly present the roadmap to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Communicate insights into key product metrics across the organization, connecting product performance to roadmap decisions and business outcomes.
  • Own product-level competitive positioning and intelligence, assessing and addressing regulatory and technical constraints, and advocating for security, risk, and compliance.
  • Author net-new Product Briefs end-to-end in collaboration with the Product Team, including problem definition, business rationale, customer evidence, key requirements, MVP definition, and product-level constraints.
  • Define and champion AI-based features as part of the roadmap and apply AI-assisted approaches to discovery, analysis, and brief creation.
  • Create the initial positioning and market angle at brief time, remaining accountable for the product's positioning through every launch.
  • Write and produce product-facing materials, including product presentations and competitive comparisons, and contribute substantively to enablement and marketing collateral.
  • Support Sales and Customer Success with product expertise, answering questions, contributing to enablement, and meeting directly with customers and prospects.
  • Partner with the Product Owner, Product Marketing Manager, and Product Designer throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders.
