Product manager - Data management
About The Position
As a Product Manager in Infrastructure Platform, you will help innovate product offerings and lead the end-to-end product life cycle. You will act as the voice of the customer and develop profitable products that deliver customer value. You will guide product launches, gather feedback, and help ensure a high-quality client experience. The role involves working with cross-functional teams and maintaining a focus on scalability, resiliency, and stability. The Product Manager develops product strategy and vision, conducts discovery and market research, maintains the product backlog and roadmap, defines and tracks success metrics, and coordinates product launches and go-to-market strategies. The role also uses user feedback and product performance data to inform product improvements and decisions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop product strategy and vision that deliver value to customers.
- Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and incorporate them into the product roadmap.
- Own, maintain, and develop the product backlog to support the strategic roadmap and value proposition.
- Build a framework and track key product success metrics, including cost, features and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product improvements.
- Work with developers to manage the Jira board.
- Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Coordinate product launches and go-to-market strategies.
