About The Position

Félix is hiring a Product Manager for its Payouts Platform, a shared service that enables Félix products to send money across bank transfers, instant payment rails, wallets, cards, cash networks, and crypto rails. The role owns the platform’s vision, roadmap, and results, with the goal of making payouts fast, reliable, and low-cost across markets. The manager will build a self-serve capability that product teams can adopt, expand market and payment-rail coverage, shape payout-partner strategy, improve routing and validation, reduce manual handling of payout failures and returns, and give product teams real-time payout visibility. The role works closely with Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Treasury, product teams, and Business Development. Engineering owns delivery, while Business Development owns commercial relationships with partners.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years working on payments, payouts, or money movement products.
• Experience owning a product whose primary customers were other teams or developers.
• Understanding of payout rails and partners, including settlement timing, returns, failure modes, and partner service-level agreements.
• A track record of taking third-party integrations from evaluation to production with engineering and commercial teams.
• Comfort with SQL and defining and tracking reliability and cost metrics.
• Ability to explain trade-offs clearly to engineers, operations teams, and executives.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Latin American payment rails, such as SPEI, PIX, or ACH-style bank transfers.
• Experience with crypto or stablecoin rails for payouts or settlement.
• Working knowledge of payments compliance, such as sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Define the Payouts Platform vision and roadmap, balancing new capabilities, reliability, and cost.
• Build payouts as a shared, self-serve platform that product teams can adopt quickly.
• Decide which markets and payout rails to support, including instant payments, wallets, cash networks, and crypto rails.
• Lead the platform side of launches with FX, Compliance, and Treasury, and reduce time to go live.
• Define requirements for payout partners, evaluate their performance, and decide which partners to integrate or route more volume to.
• Develop direct connections to major payout providers alongside aggregator partners.
• Make partner decisions for new capabilities with the Business Development team.
• Define routing and validation strategies to improve success rates and speed while lowering payout costs.
• Prioritize product improvements that reduce manual handling of failed and returned payouts, working with Operations and the Ops Platform.
• Provide product teams with real-time visibility into payouts.
• Coordinate with Compliance on screening, Treasury on liquidity, and product teams on the experiences built on the platform.
• Define reliability and performance commitments for product teams and prioritize work with Engineering to meet them.
• Report on payout success, speed, and cost.
