About The Position

At Félix, we are a hyper-growth Series C company, backed by over $300 million in funding from top-tier global investors. We are building the future of financial services for underserved communities. The Payouts Platform is a critical shared service that enables all Félix products to send money across various channels including bank transfers, instant payment rails, wallets, cards, cash networks, and crypto rails. As the Product Manager for the Payouts Platform, you will be responsible for the vision, roadmap, and outcomes related to how money is disbursed to recipients. Your primary objective is to ensure that payouts are fast, reliable, and cost-effective across all markets served by Félix.

Requirements

5+ years in product management.
At least 2 years of experience in payments, payouts, or money movement products.
Platform and API experience, with a history of owning products for internal developer or team customers.
Understanding of payout rails and partners, including settlement timing, returns, failure modes, and partner SLAs.
Track record of taking third-party integrations from evaluation to production, working with engineering and commercial teams.
Data fluency, comfortable with SQL and defining/tracking reliability and cost metrics.
Clear communication skills, able to explain trade-offs to engineers, ops teams, and executives.

Nice To Haves

Experience with LatAm payout rails (e.g., SPEI, PIX, ACH-style bank transfers).
Experience with crypto or stablecoin rails for payouts or settlement.
Working knowledge of payments compliance, such as sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.

Responsibilities

Set the vision and roadmap for the Payouts Platform, balancing new capabilities, reliability, and cost.
Build the Payouts Platform into a shared, self-serve capability for all product teams to accelerate new product launches.
Expand reach by identifying and investing in new markets and payout rails (instant payments, wallets, cash networks, crypto) across Latin America and beyond.
Lead the platform side of new market launches in collaboration with FX, Compliance, and Treasury teams to shorten time-to-market.
Shape partner strategy by defining platform needs, evaluating partner performance, and deciding on integrations and routing.
Improve payout performance by defining routing and validation strategies to increase success rates and speed while lowering costs.
Reduce manual work by prioritizing product improvements that minimize manual handling of failed and returned payouts.
Provide real-time visibility into every payout for product teams.
Ensure all payouts are compliant, funded, and supportable by collaborating with Compliance, Treasury, and product teams.
Set service commitments for reliability and performance, and prioritize work with the engineering team to meet these commitments.
Report on the success, speed, and cost of payouts.
