About The Position

Félix is hiring a Product Manager for its Payouts Platform, a shared service used by Félix products to send money through bank transfers, instant payment rails, wallets, cards, cash networks, and crypto rails. The role owns the platform’s vision, roadmap, and results, with the goal of making payouts fast, reliable, and cost-effective across the markets Félix serves.

The Product Manager will build a self-serve payouts capability that product teams can adopt, expand the platform’s market and payment-rail coverage, and lead the platform work for launches alongside FX, Compliance, and Treasury. The role also shapes payout-partner and routing strategies, improves payout success rates, speed, and cost, reduces manual handling of failed and returned payouts, and provides product teams with real-time payout visibility. The position works closely with engineering, which owns delivery, as well as Operations, Compliance, Treasury, Business Development, and product teams. It defines service commitments and reports on payout success, speed, and cost.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years working on payments, payouts, or money movement products.
• Experience owning a platform product whose primary customers were other teams or developers.
• Understanding of payout rails and partners, including settlement timing, returns, failure modes, and partner service-level agreements.
• Track record of taking third-party integrations from evaluation to production with engineering and commercial teams.
• Comfort with SQL and defining and tracking reliability and cost metrics.
• Ability to explain trade-offs clearly to engineers, operations teams, and executives.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Latin American payment rails, such as SPEI, PIX, or ACH-style bank transfers.
• Experience with crypto or stablecoin rails for payouts or settlement.
• Working knowledge of payments compliance, such as sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Set the Payouts Platform vision and roadmap, balancing new capabilities, reliability, and cost.
• Build payouts as a shared, self-serve capability that product teams can adopt quickly.
• Choose markets and payout rails for investment, including instant payments, wallets, cash networks, and crypto rails.
• Lead platform work for launches in coordination with FX, Compliance, and Treasury, and help shorten time to launch.
• Define payout-partner requirements, compare partner performance, and decide which partners to integrate or route more volume to.
• Build direct connections to major payout providers alongside aggregator partners.
• Make partner decisions for new capabilities with the Business Development team, which owns commercial relationships.
• Define routing and validation strategies to improve payout success rates and speed while lowering cost per payout.
• Prioritize improvements that reduce manual handling of failed and returned payouts, working with Operations and the Ops Platform.
• Provide product teams with real-time visibility into payouts.
• Coordinate with Compliance on screening, Treasury on liquidity, and product teams on the experiences built on the platform.
• Define reliability and performance commitments for product teams and prioritize work with the engineering team to meet them.
• Report on payout success, speed, and cost.
