About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager to support our Mixing & Opening category, with a focus on our elevated Hamilton Beach® collections designed for consumers who value performance, design, and quality craftmanship. This is a physical product management role, responsible for driving strategy, development, and commercial execution across a well-established category. This position plays an important role in supporting Hamilton Beach Brands’ continued growth, innovation, and operational excellence, with a particular focus on elevating brand perception and unlocking margin growth in the premium space. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional partners and contributes to key business initiatives that support the company’s long-term strategy. This is a hybrid position based in Glen Allen, VA and reports to the Group Manager of Product Marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, category management, or related roles within consumer goods.
  • Experience in physical product management, appliances, or consumer hardgoods preferred; experience with premium or design-led product portfolios strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen, with experience supporting P&L performance.
  • Ability to translate consumer insights and market data into actionable product strategies, particularly in premium/aspirational market segments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of category strategy and product roadmap for the Premium Brands portfolio.
  • Manage product lifecycle activities from concept through launch and post-market optimization, with particular attention to design quality, materials, and premium positioning.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain to deliver successful product launches.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape within the premium appliance space to inform product decisions.
  • Support premium pricing strategy, margin targets, and overall portfolio performance.
  • Assist in preparing business cases, product briefs, and launch plans that reflect premium brand standards.
  • Monitor in-market performance and recommend actions to drive growth, elevate brand equity, and improve results.
  • Contribute to innovation pipeline development, with a focus on differentiated features and design that support premium market positioning.
