About The Position

Navitaire is seeking a Product Manager / Product Owner to lead the evolution and delivery of AppCenter, our next generation, web based platform for airline agent and airport operations applications. This role owns the end to end product lifecycle—from strategy and roadmap through detailed requirements and delivery—working closely with engineering, customers, delivery, and commercial teams. AppCenter is a thin client, API driven platform designed to modernize airline operations, replace legacy thick client tools, and accelerate value delivery for our customers. This is a hybrid role and would require you to be in the local office 50% of the time.

Requirements

  • Experience in product management, product ownership, or business analysis within enterprise or platform products
  • Strong ability to translate strategy into executable delivery
  • Experience working with API‑based, web‑delivered systems
  • Strong presentation skills ranging from 1:1 to large groups
  • Proven stakeholder collaboration across engineering, customers, and delivery teams
  • Experience supporting product adoption, migrations, or legacy modernization initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision
  • Own and communicate the product vision and roadmap for AppCenter and its portfolio of applications
  • Align customer needs, operational efficiency, and platform modernization priorities
  • Define clear value propositions and success outcomes to drive adoption and long‑term scalability
  • Product Ownership & Delivery
  • Serve as the single owner of the product backlog , priorities, and acceptance criteria
  • Translate roadmap themes into epics, features, and user stories aligned with a web‑based, API‑first architecture
  • Partner with engineering to deliver incremental, independent releases
  • Support beta programs, phased rollouts, and production launches
  • Customer support
  • Release management
  • Collaboration across engineering, customers, and delivery teams
  • Requirements & Analysis
  • Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non‑functional requirements
  • Ensure traceability from customer needs through delivered capabilities
  • Incorporate feedback from customers, account teams, training, and support into backlog refinement
  • Contribute to release notes, user documentation, and enablement materials
  • Adoption & Lifecycle Management
  • Drive customer adoption and migration from legacy applications to AppCenter
  • Support deployment strategies aligned with customer upgrade cycles
  • Track adoption progress, parity gaps, and legacy sunset readiness
  • Scope of Products
  • AppCenter web platform (Angular front end, Digital API integration)
  • Agent and booking applications (e.g., Booking, Customer, Queue, Voucher, Fraud, Credit History)
  • While not directly involved in managing other Digital offerings such as APIs, will sometimes assist Product to present those offerings to leadership or customer.
