Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter, results-oriented and able to thrive under pressure.
  • Nimble with the ability to multitask and embrace last-minute changes.
  • Great collaborator and able to work with colleagues at all levels.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, oversee, and manage allocated product accounts through the entire product lifecycle, including business model, customer discovery, product design, marketing planning, sales techniques, and launch.
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements, assist with product vision, and collaborate with design, marketing, sales, and operations departments to meet financial and consumer satisfaction goals.
  • Ensure product design supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
  • Brainstorm and work with cross-departmental partners to ensure a flawless product launch process.
  • Work with leaders across the company to drive towards company sales goals.
  • Understand and plan for potential gaps in product availability that the Sales team may face.
  • Develop strategies based on product performance for B2B and B2C markets.
  • Curate products for customer-specific needs in collaboration with Design and Sales.
  • Cross-train costing and development across all customers (e.g., Lowes, Costco, Mass Market, Customer Specific).
  • Create and maintain product timelines across multiple departments to ensure product launches stay on track.
  • Maintain and communicate the product vision consistently across the company.
  • Understand the needs and desires of sales hubs, including product lines, price points, and shipping methods.
  • Determine product pricing using market research data.
  • Find creative solutions to launch innovative products.
  • Complete preliminary costings for allocated product accounts.
  • Train, educate, and advise company members about specific product collections.
  • Communicate designer’s visions to factories in a timely manner and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Assess market competition by comparing the company's products to competitors' products.
  • Coordinate with Design on critical product development decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on additional packaging needs for advertising.
  • Work with the industrialization team to ensure correct packaging for the production line.
  • Review product designs and recommend changes based on cost or production constraints.
  • Develop relationships with vendors across multiple item types.
