Product Manager, Incentives

Augeo Affinity Marketing, Inc.•Saint Paul, MN
•$125,000 - $152,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Augeo is hiring a Product Manager to own the Incentives domain of THEO, its orchestration and intelligence platform for reward, recognition, incentive, and advocacy programs. THEO provides shared capabilities across Augeo’s business units, so the role will identify common requirements and maintain the boundary between platform capabilities and unit-specific products. The Product Manager will lead the Incentives pod alongside its AI Architect and partner closely with the Intelligence/ML team. The role owns the Incentives product vision, strategy, and roadmap, from discovery through launch and measurement. Its primary success metric is incremental engagement per reward dollar: increasing the behavior clients seek while reducing cost per action. The position combines product management, AI/ML collaboration, incentive economics, experimentation, and client and partner needs. It includes defining incentive decisioning and configuration capabilities, measuring the causal impact of incentive strategies, evaluating automation opportunities using generative AI and agentic workflows, and ensuring products meet enterprise privacy, consent, and data governance requirements.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of product management experience, including owning features from definition through launch and iteration.
  • Product fundamentals, including writing clear requirements, prioritizing a backlog against limited engineering capacity, running discovery, and defining success metrics before building.
  • Experience working on data- or ML-driven products, such as ranking, recommendations, personalization, or pricing, and comfort with frequent experimentation and a fast build-measure-learn cycle.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and ability to work with data scientists and engineers on model evaluation, prompting, and system design without being an ML engineer.
  • Analytical rigor, including comfort defining metrics, analyzing data, and making evidence-based prioritization decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience contributing to a generative AI or LLM-based feature in production.
  • Experience with loyalty, rewards, incentive, or engagement platforms.
  • Exposure to experimentation and personalization methods such as A/B or holdout testing, uplift modeling, or recommendation systems.
  • Familiarity with incentive and reward program economics, such as points liability, breakage, or redemption modeling.
  • Hands-on use of AI-powered development and prototyping tools, such as Claude Code, to accelerate product discovery and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Incentives domain, from problem discovery through shipped and measured outcomes.
  • Define with the Intelligence and ML team how models select, personalize, and sequence incentives to maximize engagement and program ROI.
  • Work with data science and engineering to specify the incentive decisioning engine, including its inputs, model evaluation criteria, and production quality bars.
  • Translate incentive economics, including budgets, redemption rates, breakage, and partner cost structures, into product requirements.
  • Design and prioritize the incentive catalog and configuration experience so clients and partners can launch and manage programs with minimal manual overhead.
  • Build an experimentation practice using holdout tests and uplift modeling to determine which incentive strategies cause behavior change.
  • Evaluate and deliver high-leverage generative AI and agentic workflow opportunities for incentive content generation, catalog curation, and program configuration.
  • Turn client, partner, and internal stakeholder needs into precise, prioritized requirements with clear success metrics.
  • Ensure incentive products meet privacy, consent, and data governance requirements across enterprise client environments.
  • Represent the Incentives pod in cross-team planning and communicate tradeoffs, risks, and progress to engineering, design, and commercial leadership.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, with additional virtual and in-person care perks through third-party vendors in select locations.
  • Paid long-term disability and life insurance.
  • HSA/FSA plans.
  • Voluntary benefits, including critical illness, hospital, and pet coverage.
