About The Position

PURE HomeRiver is seeking an AI-forward Product Manager to support its Property Manager Accounting Domain, the financial core of its multi-ledger accounting and payments engine. The domain includes trust accounting, ledgering, rent posting, high-volume transactional payment processing, reconciliations, closing workflows, and financial reporting. The platform is intended to support hundreds of thousands of monthly transactions, and product decisions must balance user needs, compliance requirements, operational workflows, and financial accuracy. The Product Manager will work closely with internal accounting experts to ensure compliance with trust accounting regulations and create workflows that produce clean, auditable financials. The role focuses on shipping the platform internally and increasing efficiency for property managers. Responsibilities span research, user interviews, writing stories, and defining product strategy and the roadmap as the company grows. The position involves close collaboration with users and technical teams in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

  • Ability to move work forward autonomously as a motivated self-starter.
  • Subject matter knowledge in one or more of the following: double-entry accounting, bank reconciliations, integrations for payments and money movements, or financial reporting.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with considerable ambiguity.
  • Experience working with non-technical users, empathy for their challenges, and interest in user experience.
  • Detail-oriented precision, including attention to compliance, reconciliation, and tracking financial activity through its lifecycle.
  • Analytical ability to map complex user journeys and solve challenging problems in novel ways.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on technical products.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn quickly.
  • Comfort working with distributed and outsourced teams.
