About The Position

At Disney Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands including Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide and all of Disney Signature Experiences. Within Disney Signature Experiences, the Disney Cruise Line team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest and Cast experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the fleet including Core Platforms, the Disney Cruise Line Website, the DCL Navigator Mobile App, servicing multiple lines of business, shoreside and shipboard. This Product Manager role will sit in the Pre-Booking and Foundational-Core technology and digital segment of the Disney Cruise Line business. Reporting to the Sr Manager of Product Management, the Product Manager will drive product strategy, concept development, and delivery of initiatives within the Cruise Shopping experience in collaboration with our Product Management, Technology, and Business Operation team partners. As a Product Manager, you will understand the business capabilities, identify gaps, and deliver product roadmaps for new features. You are collaborative, able to work successfully in a matrix organization while wearing multiple hats and are comfortable working autonomously. Adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products, and applications. Be a liaison to development, implementation, and support teams as well as support multiple projects, improvements, backlog and prioritization of features and capabilities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management experience delivering quality solutions in a digital or eCommerce (top-of-funnel) environment. Or, 2 years of product management delivering website software capabilities, plus an additional 3+ years of digital marketing management specializing in social channels, special media, and targeted campaign management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience and comfort solving problems in an ambiguous environment where there is regular change.
  • Have the tenacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, inspire change, and collaborate with a variety of individuals and organizational partners.
  • Deep commitment to curiosity - conducting research, gathering metrics, proactively identifying & addressing issues or opportunities during requirements gathering processes.
  • Possesses analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project cases.
  • Experience writing user stories, writing requirements, and managing backlogs in tools like JIRA or Confluence.
  • Planning acumen and proven ability to break down work and define an MVP, as well as subsequent iterations.
  • Proficient skills in scope intake, requirements documentation, and testing criteria.
  • Excellent presentation skills and clear, logical communication style so you can represent our product strategy and roadmap to engineering, business, and product leadership.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to build relationships and manage scope expectations.
  • Experience working with content management systems and processes that support go-to-market delivery and triage of content, data configuration, and service integration.
  • Comfortable working with bi-coastal and international teams.

  • Experience working in an eCommerce and Complex marketing media space.
  • Fluent in industry best practices and can identify areas for optimization and innovation.
  • Strong product sense for various users and what makes compelling consumer products and delightful user experiences - ensuring new designs and enhancements can best support use cases of internal teams, agents, and direct-to-consumer users.
  • Passionate about the end user experience and delivering quality results.
  • Familiar with A/B experimentation methods and hypothesis-driven development.
  • Experience in running competitive and consumer analysis.
  • Experience with leveraging Contentsquare for end user behavior and insights. Including: zone mapping, heat maps, and session replays.
  • Experience with social media campaign tracking, search engine optimization, AI summaries, and media contribution factors.
  • Relevant agile certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the digital experience, advocating on the Guest's behalf, and working diligently to build an outstanding experience for Disney Guests
  • Responsible for understanding and implementing the digital product strategy for digital product experience(s) for Guest or Cast
  • Translates the digital strategy into clearly prioritized user stories, business requirements and other product documentation including acceptance criteria and test cases
  • Assists with developing presentations to share and build advocacy with Executive audiences and partners across the Organization
  • Leads and maintains feature development and backlog, attending daily scrums to help drive priority decisions and remove roadblocks
  • Ensures appropriate delivery of product requirements across the development lifecycle, including partnering with design and technology teams to ensure the visual design, content strategy, copywriting and development align to the strategic vision
  • Contributes to developing the go to market strategy for the digital Guest or Cast experience
  • Supports the ongoing monitoring product performance, supporting A/B tests and recommending opportunities to enhance the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Digital Platforms, including mobile apps and websites.
  • Support with delivery and ongoing maintenance, which may include product build, content configuration and on call collaboration to ensure successful uptime of the digital experience as needed
