About The Position

This company is a leader in manufacturing oil-free compressors, compressed air systems, and vacuum solutions, specializing in industries such as data centers, power generation, emissions reduction, gas generation, methane abatement, pneumatic applications, food and beverage, and packaging. This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager with expertise in compressed air systems and vacuum technologies to drive product development, create market strategies, and lead business initiatives across a wide range of industries.

Requirements

  • A BS/BA undergraduate degree is required.
  • 2-5 years of Product Manager experience, ideally with compressed air systems or vacuum technologies.
  • Experience working with OEMs, industrial customers, and end-users in data centers, power generation, and emissions reduction applications.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA is preferred.
  • Technical aptitude or an Engineering degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, or similar technologies is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems for customer tracking and trend analysis is preferred.
  • Project management experience is a plus, especially in new product development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of both upstream new product development (NPD) and downstream sales execution strategies for oil-free compressors, compressed air systems, and vacuum solutions.
  • Conduct Voice of Customer activities, including attending trade shows, visiting end-users, and analyzing historical sales data to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Research and understand competitive products, sales strategies, and marketing tactics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Create multi-year product development plans (1-3 years), collaborating with the sales and engineering teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of new products.
  • Develop business cases for new products and work closely with engineering to define product release requirements.
  • Liaise with marketing teams to create promotional strategies and train the sales organization on product features and applications.
  • Manage product-related content on the company website and marketing materials.
  • Lead trade show planning, ensuring maximum exposure and engagement for new and existing products.
  • Recommend market pricing strategies to meet revenue and margin targets.
  • Evaluate and recommend strategic partnerships to expand market reach.
