Product Manager, Senior

Booz Allen Hamilton•Usa, DC

About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking a startup-minded Senior Product Manager who will also serve as the product owner and Scrum Master for G RACE, ARPA-H’s AI assistant. The role owns backlog readiness, sprint cadence, product acceptance criteria, delivery tracking, user engagement, and regular reporting. The G RACE product lead sets strategy and epic priority, resolves ties, and makes final decisions on sprint scope, releases, and architecture reviews; engineering determines how work is built. The Product Manager ensures work is ready, sprints stay on track, and shipped features are used and effective. The position works directly with customers and internal teams in a high-velocity environment, helping them understand G RACE’s capabilities and limitations while supporting privacy, security, safety, and responsible use in the federal environment. Responsibilities include backlog and ceremony management, analytics and dashboards, bug and release processes, discovery, customer support, training, and coordination with design, research, engineering, and agency partners. The role also brings security, compliance, and Authority to Operate (ATO) considerations into planning, particularly for external agency integrations. The projected annualized compensation range is $86,800 to $198,000. Salary is determined by factors including location, education, skills, experience, contract affordability, and organizational requirements. The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.

Responsibilities

  • Publish weekly updates on usage, velocity, carryover, bug burn-down, and upcoming releases.
  • Review grooming and delivery health with engineering monthly.
  • Triage bugs by severity, participate in pre-release testing huddles, and use G RACE regularly as users do.
  • Help define quality standards for G RACE answers and contribute test cases to product evaluations.
