Chime is seeking Product Managers for its Trust & Safety team to drive critical investments in transaction risk decisioning and member identity and account lifecycle. These roles are at the intersection of customer experience, risk management, operations, and compliance, owning high-impact problem spaces. The Product Manager will partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to define strategy, ship impactful products, and iterate based on data and insights. These are opportunities to shape how Chime balances growth, safety, and member experience at scale. The base salary range depends on the position location: San Francisco, CA: $183,000 to $205,000. Chicago, IL: $165,000 to $185,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, equity, and benefits. The actual base salary will depend on factors such as location, skills, qualifications, and experience. Both roles are available in San Francisco, CA or Chicago, IL. Trust & Safety at Chime spans multiple product domains, with individual roles focusing on one of these areas: Transaction Risk Decisioning: Building systems to evaluate real-time transaction risk across various payment methods, aiming to raise authorization rates, contain fraud, and improve decline experiences. This requires expertise in payments risk, card network rules, and dispute frameworks. Member Identity & Lifecycle: Owning core identity and account lifecycle capabilities, managing how Chime responds to member account status changes (suspensions, closures, re-enabling). This team also partners with other product teams to ensure safe integration with shared Chime patterns. Requires experience with identity or account lifecycle systems and cross-product orchestration. Across these areas, work will directly impact member trust, financial access, and platform integrity.
