Product Manager, Retail Team
About The Position
We are seeking a strategic, growth-oriented Product Manager to join our Retail Product team in Colmar, PA. In this role, you will work onsite, take full ownership of your assigned product line, planning, organizing, and controlling its lifecycle from initial concept through successful market launch. As a product champion, you will drive business growth and performance at the category level by co-developing and influencing key customer, pricing, sourcing, and service strategies. The ideal candidate is an impactful leader capable of directly or indirectly influencing cross-functionally, translating long-term strategy (12–24 months) into actionable plans that sustain initiatives to successful completion.
Requirements
- Experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.
- Prior experience working in a cross-functional environment
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Communicate at all levels of the organization to move projects through the organization with minimal direction
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Advanced/Intermediate Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups
- Must be willing to travel 10% of the time with occasional weekend responsibility

Responsibilities
- Establishes product road map, produce category and customer line reviews and go to market strategy
- Defines category pricing and add strategies
- Defines market messages and ensures all marketing copy, product descriptions, etc. are correct and accurately reflect messages and positions
- Performs pricing reviews
- Sets forecast for new adds
- Maintains the pulse of the market and competitor landscape
- Owns commercialization of assigned product lines
- Creates and delivers engaging presentations with influence to support selling
- Supports Sales team through ongoing education, line reviews, and training
- Attends national tradeshows
- Proactively follows up with account managers on a consistent basis
- Collaborates with Customers and Tech Line
- New Product Development: Establishes and drives project priorities in collaboration with other project managers
- Works cross-functionally to establish priorities and outcomes
- Researches and stays informed of market and technology trends
- Manages profitability for assigned product line in accordance with Business Unit metrics
- Other duties as assigned
