Requirements

  • Two (2) to five (5) years of product management experience owning major features or a defined product area from discovery through launch, measurement, and iteration.

Responsibilities

  • Define, Build, and Launch Exceptional Products: Gather and synthesize requirements from patients, practices, stakeholders, product data, and technical partners. Translate inputs into clear specifications for major features, including goals, functionality, user flows, acceptance criteria, dependencies, edge cases, and success measures. Partner closely with engineering, design, data, and other cross-functional contributors to iteratively deliver patient-facing functionality. Negotiate scope and implementation decisions, make thoughtful trade-offs between speed, quality, and user value. Own the quality and launch readiness of the patient experiences within the product area. Identify and prioritize technical, functional, usability, and business issues.

Turn quantitative insights into actionable product recommendations. Determine when patient or practice feedback is necessary and select the appropriate research method (usability testing, interviews, focus groups, surveys). Partner with teams to execute research, synthesize findings, and translate insights into prioritized product improvements. Work closely with design to define and deliver intuitive, accessible, and consistent patient experiences.
  • Deliver Business Impact Through Product Innovation: Connect patient-facing product functionality to strategic objectives. Define measurable goals for each initiative, own commitments from planning through post-launch analysis, and communicate proactively when commitments are at risk. Help define and communicate a clear vision for the patient product experience. Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap of features and initiatives. Develop a strong understanding of PracticeTek’s strategic direction and identify how the Patients product portfolio can contribute. Support market research and conduct competitive analysis.
  • Rally Teams Around the Work: Proactively identify stakeholders affected by current and planned patient initiatives. Build alignment across product, engineering, design, customer-facing teams, business leaders, and other partners. Incorporate relevant requirements and feedback into product decisions. Provide day-to-day product leadership for the development squad by establishing clear goals, creating shared context, supporting effective decision-making, and helping the team move work to completion.
