POSITION SUMMARY: At Cryoport Systems, our mission is to support life and health by providing reliable and comprehensive temperature-controlled logistics solutions for the life sciences through our advanced technologies and dedicated personnel. The ideal candidate is an experienced Product Manager capable of operating in a fast-paced, dynamic setting to work in Product Management for the organization. This candidate will report to the Director of Product Management - PD (in the interim to Sr. Director of Product Marketing - PD) and work closely with the Engineering, Product Marketing and Project Management Teams to align new products with the corporate strategy, analyze profitability for existing and new products and support the products portfolio of temperature-controlled shippers, condition monitoring systems, data services and packaging/accessories. The Product Manager is responsible for managing the overall success of the assigned product line including new product development processes, product improvements for existing products and the successful adoption of new and existing products. The ideal candidate must be able to transform quantitative and qualitative data from market research, customer, and sales feedback into insights; be the Subject Matter Expect for the product/market and develop the strategy to drive product development and improvement priorities. In this role, you will interact with cross-functional teams including Business Development/Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Procurement and Clients to identify product improvements and new products that align with our corporate strategy and execute the product line road maps. The role will focus on new product development and improving current products in our pipeline and will be based in Cryoport Systems’ Irvine office.
